The technology we are focusing to be used in this city include:
• City Trams and Light Gauge Suburban Railways
• Refineries
• Resort/Hotel destinations
• Light factories
• Solar power plants
Increasing solar energy production is been viewed as a green energy provider. The increased demand has provided for material costs to fall making solar a more viable solution. As with W2E the solar energy power plant can be sized to local grid demand.
• W2E power plant
It is recognised across the developing world that municipal waste is a massive problem. Waste collected tends to be either land fill or dump site. These in themselves carry huge environmental and health risk. Provision of a waste collection, segregation, incineration, energy generation and scrubbed exhaust gasses will provide sustainable solutions. The W2E plant can be planned according to waste and expected energy requirement.
;;
• Wind power plant
As with solar the wind solution is gathering popularity. The additional benefit with wind is that 24 hour generation is achievable. A combination a of Wind and Solar may provide for a more flexible energy demand provision.
Self Generating Solar Glass
Utilisation of a clear glass product that generates energy in a similar way to traditional solar panels is an innovation that Al Razam is particularly keen to integrate to Smart City. The clear glass may be install in a similar way to standard double glazed units but generate energy. The model is very adaptable and development of solar powered green houses, bus shelters and architectural features is ongoing.

Smart Hub
This integrates all emergency services under a common ICT umbrella. Police, Fire, Emergency Response and Security can be embraced under one provider.
Security
Such as CCTV, incident alerts, security breach and criminal activity to be collated and data captured under the Smart Hub

At Al Razam we believe that bringing together highly developed and sophisticated urban solutions provides commercial advantage and sustainable technology to the client.
